Get mentioned when an AI system recommends companies like yours.
We find out what ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Copilot and Claude currently say about your category, which sources they build those answers from, and what has to change for your company to be named.
What it is
AI search optimization is the work of making your company understandable to systems that compose answers rather than rank links, and more likely to be named when someone asks who to consider. It is often called answer engine optimization, or AEO.
Why it matters
An AI answer is assembled from sources. When a buyer asks which companies to consider, the systems name a shortlist, and the companies on it are the ones the available sources describe clearly. If the sources describe a competitor better than they describe you, the answer names them.
What we do
- AI visibility audits across the systems your buyers actually use
- Prompt and query tracking for the questions that precede a purchase
- AI mention monitoring, week over week
- Citation analysis: which sources each answer is built from
- Entity optimization and structured data
- Content optimization for the form a model quotes
- Competitive analysis of who is named instead of you
What we measure
- Mention rate: how often you appear in answers to your question set
- Citations: which of your pages and which third-party sources get used
- Share of voice against named competitors
- Representation: how each system describes you
- Sentiment: whether that description is positive, neutral or negative
What an engagement involves
The work starts with an audit of what the systems say today, against a question bank written for your category. That produces a ranked list of entity, content and source problems. We fix those, then track the same frozen questions weekly so the change is measurable rather than asserted.
Common questions
Questions
- Can you actually control what ChatGPT says about my company?
- No. Nobody can, and a firm that claims otherwise is selling something it cannot deliver. What can be changed is the material the answer is built from: whether your entity is unambiguous, whether your pages answer the question in a quotable form, and whether the third-party sources these systems lean on describe you accurately.
- How is this different from SEO?
- SEO competes for a position in a list of links. AI search optimization competes for a mention inside a generated answer. The technical foundation overlaps heavily, and a page that cannot be found conventionally cannot be drawn from either. What differs is the target and the measurement: rankings against mentions and citations.
- How do you measure something that changes every time you ask?
- By asking the same questions repeatedly and keeping every result. Answers vary between runs, so a single check describes a moment. A weekly record over a frozen question set describes a direction, which is the thing worth acting on.
